Abaqus interaction

Certain interaction behaviors can be defined only by using surface-to-surface contact. I imported an orphaned mesh from hypermesh. I just can't find a guide that explains the interactions and properties of interactions. I was able to insert the contact with friction but I can not insert the contact between two bodies that must be sympathetic (welded).
